Picaderos made headlines in 2017, with not one, not two, but three visits by pop star Justin Bieber.
3. Coffee Lounge
The Coffee Lounge offers a relaxing atmosphere with simply fantastic food. Don’t let the name fool you, this is a great restaurant serving top dishes and their fish specials are five-star.
4. Avenue
A favourite of ours, we love to stop in to the Avenue for a plate of chicken wings and a speciality gin cocktail.
5. Shoda Market Cafe
A relatively new addition to the well-established Glenroyal Hotel, the Shoda Market cafe is great for an early breakfast or light lunch with coffee and pastries.
6. Oak Alley
Restaurant downstairs, cocktail bar upstairs. This is our kind of place!
7. Red Torch Ginger
If you are looking for something a bit different, try this great Thai restaurant above McMahon’s Lounge. We recommend the Phad Kee Mao with prawns.
8. Beetroot Healthy Food
If you are vegetarian it can sometimes be difficult to find great food. Not in Maynooth. Beetroot is a great restaurant with an amazing selection of veggie and vegan cuisine.
9. L’Art du Chocolat
This is heaven for chocaholics. L’Art du Chocolat are quickly acquiring a national reputation for their stunning creations with people coming from far and wide to taste their treats.

Donatello’s is a lovely hidden restaurant that offers a great variety of meals and serves amazing Italian food.
